Eat Out to Help Out

29th July, 2020

Set to launch on the 3rd of August the new government scheme ‘Eat out to help out’ supports your restaurant with a 50% discount to encourage people to eat out.

The scheme will run on a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday to help on those traditionally quieter days. That is not all diners are not limited to the amount of times they can use this offer, so expect to see the same faces throughout August.

Here is a quick summary of things you need to know about the scheme

  • The 50% promotion is off food & drink up to £10 per diner (excluding alcoholic beverages)
  • Runs all day on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday between the 3rd & 31st of August.
  • Responsibility will be on the restaurant to claim back from the government (no hassle for customers)
  • You must have your own or shared dining area
  • You must be a registered food business on or before 7th July
