The National Fish & Chip Awards 2023 – Enter now!
Published on 4th September 2022
As proud members of the National Federation of Fish Fryers (NFFF), Meadow Vale Foods is thrilled to sponsor The National Fish & Chip Awards 2023.
The awards recognise fish and chip operators and their ability to adapt quickly to changing consumer needs. The current surge in the price of crucial materials such as fish, oil, and potatoes means there has never been a more important time to support the industry.
“Our ongoing support contributes to the promotional work being done behind the scenes on behalf of the fish frying trade, which has never been more important as running costs reach an unprecedented high for businesses.” said Nigel O’Donnell, Managing Director of Meadow Vale Foods.
Initially organised by Seafish, the NFFF has been handed the baton as custodians of this prestigious event and will be hosting the first inaugural awards in February 2023.

About The Awards
The National Fish and Chip Awards are the largest, UK-wide, event that supports the fish and chip industry. The awards ceremony is said to attract over 600 industry professionals, offering valuable networking opportunities.
The NFFF President, Andrew Crook, said, “The NFFF took this event on as it is of great importance to the fish and chip industry, our board is donating a lot of their own time to get these awards moving again, but the event is only possible with the support of our sponsors. We are grateful for everyone who has pledged support and helping us to deliver what is the highlight of the fish and chip calendar.”
