Large donation fills the freezer at local homeless shelter

We are delighted to have delivered just under 100kg of chicken to the Wrexham Foyer homeless shelter… that’s around 350 meals worth!

As the cost of living continues to surge, we are stepping up in our support of local charities, after donating over 10 van-loads of seriously tasty chicken in the last year.

We regularly donate to the The Wrexham Foyer ran by Clywyd Alyn, which is an 18-bed supported living service in the centre of Wrexham for single homeless men and women aged between 16 and 25.

The shelter provides high quality single room accommodation and offers 24-hour support, including advice on money management, healthcare and access to training and employment.

Clywyd Alyn administrator Dawn Elliot spoke of her delight with the continued generosity of Meadow Vale donations, saying:

“Meadow Vale have very kindly filled our large freezer with your very kind donation.”

“I am really intrigued by the chicken wings, they look delicious!”

“The donation is greatly appreciated, and we will put them to very good use.”

With over 90 lines of frozen chicken, we look forward to continuing our donations to local charities in the future.
