Meadow Vale Foods are proud to announce a new collaboration with Grosvenor Hart Homes that will see us provide 1,300 free recipe boxes to their tenants over the next year, providing thousands of meals in the process.
The partnership with Grosvenor Hart Homes (GHH), a social enterprise and registered provider of social housing, will see the weekly delivery of recipe boxes to low-income families and young people living in their properties in Chester and Ellesmere Port. It is hoped the scheme will provide the tenants with convenient, easy access to healthier food choices and all the benefits it brings to their wellbeing.
The goal is to not only help tenants create nutritious meals but also have access to other social benefits such as learning new skills, instilling healthier habits and bringing people together.
Speaking of the partnership, Managing Director of Meadow Vale Foods, Nigel O’Donnell said,
We were aware of GHH’s unique model and the work it is doing to improve the life chances of children, young people and their families and wanted to be able to support them in their mission.
At Meadow Vale Foods, we’re no strangers to the importance of nutritious, high-quality foods and the benefits it can bring to people, and – alongside our long-standing support for our communities through food donations to local charities – it was an easy decision to collaborate with GHH on this excellent initiative.

Grosvenor Hart Homes, which was initiated by the Duke of Westminster, pairs high-quality affordable housing with tailored support services addressing employment as well as mental health and wellbeing, measuring its success not simply by the number of homes created but by improvements in outcomes of its tenants.
Recipe boxes enable more people to access healthy food choices, providing convenient, inspiring and easy to cook recipes that result in less waste.
