Meadow Vale welcomes new Business Development Chef

Meadow Vale Foods are pleased to announce the appointment of Business Development Chef, Chris Moyes.

Chris began training at 14, combining college with high school before moving into the hotel restaurant trade. Developing his skills in the kitchen, Chris became Chef de Partie at Chester’s renowned Upstairs at the Grill before becoming head chef at the Green Bough Hotel, which was voted the top small boutique hotel on Tripadvisor.

Responsible for sourcing fresh produce and designing à la carte, fine dining menus, Chris joins the team with a wealth of culinary experience that he can’t wait to share with new and potential customers.

Chris’s last role was in the cost sector as catering manager for a rehabilitation unit, managing budgets and adapting menu ideas to specific needs.

Chris spoke of his excitement to join Meadow Vale Foods, saying:

“Meadow Vale is the market leader in foodservice added value poultry and I am looking forward to getting started as Business Development Chef, working on inspiring menu ideas, meeting customers and working on new products.”
