Meadow Vale’s Shredded Chicken has been named the Best New Meat Product at the prestigious British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) Awards.

The innovative product beat off stiff competition from the foodservice sector to be crowned the judges favourite at the event in London.

The catering products are judged by representatives of the Craft Guild of Chefs who, as executive chefs, catering managers and recipe developers, are expert in their field and uncompromising in their assessments of the entries.

Meadow Vale Foods Managing Director Nigel O’Donnell was at the event to accept the award. He said:

“We are so pleased that our shredded chicken has been recognised in this way. It’s a really innovative product that gives caterers so many menu options so we are really proud of it and glad that an organisation as highly thought of as the BFFF have recognised it in this way."

Meadow Vale’s shredded chicken is available in three coatings; plain, salt & chilli and salt and pepper. They are made from whole muscle chicken breast fillets, hand cut and coated in our signature blend of authentic crunchy coatings. They are fully cooked before being individually quick frozen and can be cooked in 90 seconds in a fryer or oven baked in six minutes.
