Ingredients
- Homestyle Crunchy Breaded Chicken Fillets x 2
- Lolo Roso Lettuce x 10g
- Pickled Red Onions x 15g
- Crinkle Cut Pickles x 15g
- Hot Honey Sauce x 30ml
For the Waffles:
- Egg x 1
- Self Raising Flour x 220g
- Caster Sugar x 1tbsp
- Milk x 250ml
- Vegetable Oil x 1tbsp
Method
Step 1
Make the waffle batter by placing the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisking until smooth and lump-free.
Step 2
Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease with oil or butter to prevent sticking. Add the waffle batter, close the lid, and cook until golden and crisp.
Step 3
Whilst the waffles are cooking, cook the Homestyle Breaded Chicken Fillets using your preferred method.
Step 4
Prepare the salad by washing the lettuce and patting them dry with paper towels.
Step 5
Build your sando by layering one waffle with lettuce, pickled red onion, two Homestyle Breaded Chicken Fillets, a drizzle of hot honey sauce, and pickles, then top with the second waffle to finish. Serve.
