Japanese food has quickly risen to be the most popular Asian cuisine in the UK with the number of Japanese eateries rising by 67%.

Our new product development team saw this growing food trend and developed two new products that have been launched in February 2020 to offer caterers fantastic tasting, convenient products for their busy kitchens.

Karaage Chicken Bites

Chicken breast fillet pieces marinated in soy sauce, ginger and garlic, in a Japanese style crunchy coating.

Katsu Chicken Fillet

Chicken breast fillets in a crunchy panko breadcrumb using authentic Japanese ingredients . Both products are fully cooked, hand cut, whole muscle chicken breast fillets that can be deep fried or oven baked from frozen, making them perfect for the modern day kitchen with no fear of handling raw poultry on site.

The addition of these two new products brings the total to three for the year, after the Homestyle Buttermilk Fillet launched in January.
