Sheffield Wednesday FC and food specialist Meadow Vale foods have teamed up to provide The Owls fans with the perfect half time snack, the partnership sees two new Kiosk’s being opened within the stadium for the 2017/18 season.

Expanding on the generic pie and chips widely available at football stadiums across the country, Sheffield Wednesday look to change their offerings to extend their market reach and generate more in-house sales.

The new Kiosk’s will offer a range of chicken creations from Meadow Vale’s new Homestyle range which include the Southern fried fillet and breaded strips, all of which will be accompanied by a portion of chips.

With one of the highest average attendances in the Championship last season, which was an impressive 27,129, this is a fantastic opportunity for both Meadow Vale Foods and Sheffield Wednesday FC.

The Kiosk has already seen great success in its opening weekend, which made well over 500 sales across the two kiosk’s, with the Pickin Chicken and Chips coming in as the crowd favourite.

Meadow Vale Foods appeals to the food-to-go and quick service industry which is a perfect fit with Sheffield Wednesday. The range of products are quick to prepare whilst keeping the same great taste, meaning during the half-time rush nobody will be left disappointed they couldn’t enjoy one our fantastic products.

The chicken maintains its heat due to all of the home-style range being hand-coated, and will also keep its lovely crunchy texture, perfect for those venturing back out to the stands with their tasty treat.

After a great opening weekend Meadow Vale hopes to grow on that success, Meadow Vale has a wide range of products and therefore have the capability of expanding on the current menu.
