Meadow Vale Foods are once again delighted to announce that two of our Sizzling Chicken lines have won Gold at the annual Quality Food Awards held in London.

Entered into the category of Foodservice Meat, and facing fierce competition from 8 other entrants, our Sizzling Shawarma Chargrilled Chicken Boneless Thigh and Sizzling Piri Piri Chargrilled Chicken Boneless Thigh came out on top, both winning Gold for the category.

Speaking on the double-award winning Sizzling Chicken, managing director Nigel O’Donnell said,

The Quality Food Awards

The Quality Food Awards are widely recognised as the longest running and most prestigious awards in the UK foodservice and retail industry. The event this year marked the 45th anniversary of the awards, and over 100 judges made up of food and drink experts tasted and scrutinised hundreds of products to determine the winners.

There were multiple categories in the foodservice awards, and it wasn’t only the Shawarma and Piri Piri Thighs that came out as winners. Judges awarded our Sizzling Original Chargrilled Chicken Skewers the Silver award in the category of Foodservice Party Food & Buffet.
