Flying the flag for great tasting chicken, the team at Meadow Vale have been hitting the road around the UK meeting customers and getting the word out on many new and exciting product launches.

Since our hugely successful and third annual appearance at the Restaurant and Takeaway Expo in London back in October, we have enjoyed visiting many existing and prospective customers from around the country offering our comprehensive marketing and sales support.

From product presentations to freezer branding installations, here’s what we’ve been getting up to…

Try before you buy

After three exciting product launches in the past few months and more to come in 2024, we have been busy meeting our customers around the country for cook ups and trade shows, letting the great quality and taste of our products do the talking.

We headed north to attend trade shows in Meadow Vale hotspots such as Glasgow, Edinburgh and Middlesbrough, where we enjoyed meeting many existing and prospective customers over a sample of some great tasting chicken.

More and more food businesses are realising the great quality and convenience of using our products and trade shows allow us to directly give customers the peace of mind that buying Meadow Vale, means buying the best in class.

What’s more, we’ve visited many of our loyal wholesale partners for product presentations at locations including London, Cardiff, Manchester and many more, cooking off our latest and greatest innovations for sales and telesales reps to try out. It’s all in the name of better brand awareness and retaining our reputation as the one stop shop for tasty chicken!

Fans flock for Shredded Chicken

Meadow Vale chicken became a viral sensation on X this weekend, as one football fan set out on an epic quest to try out our Homestyle Salt & Pepper Shredded chicken.

Since presenting our products to multiple football clubs in 2023 including Leeds United - the location of said quest – we have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback for our Homestyle Shredded Chicken, amongst other products being served on the terraces.

So much so, that one fan, who was unable to buy the trending Salt & Pepper Chicken Loaded Fries because it isn’t yet sold in his area on the stadium, set out for his friend working as a steward to buy a portion and travel the length of the stadium to bring it to him.

The mission was documented on X from it’s beginning to end by fans in the stadium, until the delighted supporter eventually received his delicious portion of Homestyle Shredded Chicken and reviewed his half time meal as ‘super delicious!’ The story even made the Yorkshire Evening Post, making it a resounding victory for both Leeds United and their chicken loving supporters!

All this was made possible starting with our comprehensive product presentations, where we provide a bespoke menu tailored for specific food businesses so they can see how to from using our products. In this case, the loaded fries triumphed!

Bringing colour to the freezers

Many of our wholesale and cash & carry partners are realising the great benefits of using Meadow Vale’s vibrant freezer branding and point of sale materials for allowing customers a quicker and more convenient buying experience.

As a result, we have installed freezer branding at many more cash and carry locations in the past few months, receiving fantastic feedback for its effectiveness in growing sales and providing a clear direction for customers.

What’s more, custom printed bags with colourful designs allow cash & carry staff to easily identify products when stocking up. We installed freezer planograms so that workers can consistently stock up in the correct places, so that customers know exactly where to find their desired products and speed up their shopping experience.
