As a leading poultry supplier to the Food Service sector, Meadow Vale Foods continues to innovate not only with on trend, great tasting products but also in ways that help us take further steps on our Mission to reduce our impact on the environment.

The switch from single-use plastics to fully recyclable packaging for our Goodness Me! range will eliminate at least 9 tonnes of plastic going to landfill every year. The innovative packaging has been developed specifically for use in the frozen food category to keep our food safe.

Alongside the packaging changes, Meadowvale’s development team have risen to the challenge and the relaunched range now has reduced allergens, lower salt content, no phosphates and only include responsibly sourced palm oil (RSPO).

All of this has been achieved whilst protecting the Goodness Me! core values of great tasting, healthier chicken, using only natural chicken breast fillet. This versitile range is fully cooked and individually quick frozen to help reduce waste and eliminate the risk of handling raw poultry.

What's more, we have reduced the bag sizes for our Cooked Chicken Portions, saving a further 1 tonne of waste going to landfill annually.

Becoming more sustainable doesn’t end with plastic waste... we have taken other steps including investing in solar panels for our offices, swapping traditional polystyrene for recyclable cardboard when sending samples and much more.
